This section is designed to introduce you to computer hardware and computer software with the aim to equip you with the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to repair, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade personal computers.  The modules you will cover are:

What’s more is that the A+ certification is globally recognized, if you pass your CompTIA exams, you have instant worldwide recognition.

N+:
The N+ certification concentrates around hardware and networking concepts of personal computers.  This section covers network topologies, protocols, multi-platform networking basics, as well as more advanced hardware and software technologies.  Like the A+, this is an internationally recognized certification from CompTIA.  Pass the exams, and become instantly certified around the globe.

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites to this course.  Some experience in the computer industry is advised, but this is not a prerequisite. This course contains a large amount of practical, therefore a personal computer is imperative. Should the candidate not have a computer at home, a new computer or laptop can be purchased from IIT, either cash payment or in terms.
