International businesses and educational institutions are placing greater emphasis than ever before on the need for individuals to possess, and effectively utilize, skills in ICT.  The increasingly dynamic nature of today’s global employment market together with a heavy dependence on ICT within the business community has led to organizations seeking those who can easily transfer their knowledge between different contexts and software packages, and who can improve their skills through formal certification.
